Listening to Junior A's music is an unexpected twist, given that it’s so hard to label it within a genre or specific sound. All the credit goes to Tautvydas, the Lithuanian bedroom producer behind the project, who has been able to channel his raw and honest lyrics into glitchy soundscapes made of lo-fi electronic percussions and hazy synths. The best part is that everything sounds so damn real, due also to those DIY vibes that pervade the tracks and make them sound like extra-rough demos of the early How To Dress Well, but as if they were produced by Jamie xx when he was still in high school. Or vice versa.
