Smokeasac & Teddy Concert at Exil, Zürich on SO 08.09.2019

Smokeasac & Teddy

SO 08.09.2019
Exil, Zürich

Dylan Mullen—known in the kingdom of SoundCloud rap as Smokeasac—was a producer, collaborator and confidante to Lil Peep, the figure who made the greatest effect on emo-rap culture. Today, Smoke is taking his skills and stepping front and center with songs such as "Leave You Behind", his debut single from 2018, and dark and trippy tracks like "Never Mind".

No stranger to a dedicated work ethic, Smokeasac is going big this year. In addition to performing at the Reading Leeds festival in the U.K. in August, he’ll follow that with a European tour that also brings him to Zurich. His proper debut album is slated for release later this fall.

Born and bred New Yorker Teddy keeps his castle reigning on the hip hop and rock scene with his grungy otherworldly sounds. Heralded for his mastery to mix genres effortlessly in an attempt to to convey his raw emotions, Teddy’s musical aptitude of blending rock and rap will remain with us until the end of time. Set to make his mark on the scene, Teddy’s musical career boomed by collaborating with other mega artists with melancholic melodies such as Rich The Kid, Lil Peep and IloveMakonnen.

Releasing his first EP Castle with No Light back in 2018, Teddy kept the smoke lingering high with his singles “Broken Hearts” and “Taste Me”, making us yearn for more. Wilding out on his first tour Fat Nick’s Generation Numb Tour, Teddy’s otherworldly presence is illuminated heavily on stage with the inclusion of his melodic, eerie and thunderous sounds. As a full crossover artist, Teddy has gained inspiration from his uncle’s Swedish Rock Band Bombshell Rocks and other prominent ’90s rock influences to contribute to his emo revival of hip hop and rock music.
