Dope Lemon

Dope Lemon sounds about as smooth, wacky and casual as the name suggests. Behind the colourful alias is the bearded half of the duo Angus & Julia Stone. Internationally successful with his sister, the Australian has already released additional songs under his own name and then created a '90s slacker rock version of himself - Dope Lemon.

Songs from the first album ‘Honey Bones’ turned into catchy indie summer hits and together have well over 100 million streams. Angus followed up with ‘Smooth Big Cat’ in 2019 and ‘Rose Pink Cadillac’ in 2022 before releasing his last album to date, ‘Kimosabè’, in 2023.

The hard-working musician is now embarking on his fifth Dope Lemon adventure with ‘Golden Wolf’. In ‘Kimosabè’, Stone reflected on his youth and the decisions that shaped him. Now he is looking at the question of where the road will take him next. On his latest work, Dope Lemon's soundscape also oscillates between lazy, sun-soaked rock and shimmering, nocturnal grooves.
