Ghost-Note

Ghost-Note is a sound explosion. A supergroup led by multi-Grammy award-winning drumming duo Robert "Sput" Searight and Nate Werth and featuring an extensive roster of high-calibre musicians - including members of Prince, Snoop Dogg, Erykah Badu, Herbie Hancock, Kendrick Lamar, Marcus Miller, Todo, Justin Timberlake and many more.

The band pushes funk into the future by building on foundations laid by greats like James Brown and Sly & The Family Stone and combining them with Afrobeat, hip-hop and psychedelia.

With the release of "Swagism" in 2018, Ghost-Note made their message clear. Featuring numerous guest musicians including Kamasi Washington, Karl Denson, Bobby Sparks, Nigel Hall, Taz, and others, Swagism showcased the band's amazing ability to fuse and amplify sounds, ultimately contributing to Ghost-Note's sharp, complex collaborations.

The band effortlessly translates this adventurous spirit into a live setting. Ghost-Note's live performances are bold and outspoken, with the group offering none of the tight-knit guidelines often associated with the band's jazz roots.
