Born and raised in Brixton, South London, singer/songwriter Jake Isaac grew up with a yearning for music, passing music grades in percussion, bass, and piano by his teens. With his father Lee Isaac a reverend in his local community -- and the founder of the street safety charity Street Pastors -- Isaac regularly attended church, growing up with worship music. An early performance at a festival in Hastings, U.K. cemented his desire to work in the music industry and by the age of 18 he was working with the likes of Daniel Bedingfield, Natalie Imbruglia, and Duffy. Isaac also contributed to the iEqualsChange band - a movement to inspire and empower young Christians - released two live albums, and was nominated for a MOBO in 2010.
Following on from a flurry of announcements including his new EP and his new single, the South London soul-folk singer announces his second single; the uplifting and feel-good anthem ‘BAD VIBES’. Recently returning to the spotlight with after a short hiatus to be with his family, the WE
USED TO DREAM release is focussed on Jake exploring his own experience of every day challenges, of love and loss and ‘re-evaluating what this whole life and love thing is all about’.
