Leith

Think a mix of Taylor Swift’s folklore era, Gracie Abrams, and a sprinkle of indie Clairo edge and you've got a feel for the sound of Leith. Toronto-born Jessie Munro released her first Leith single Love Vibes in 2021. This was followed by Birthdays in July (2022) and Running Wild (2025) as well as two EPs.

After graduating from Berklee College of Music, Munro spent several years in Los Angeles, where she released music under her own name. Shortly before the pandemic, she moved to England and began performing under her middle name Leith. While the multi-layered production and songwriting at the beginning of her career was reminiscent of acts such as Phoebe Bridgers and War on Drugs, Leith continued to experiment with her sound. In her repertoire, tracks coexist harmoniously, whether they are characterised by sweet nostalgia, folk-pop or alternative rock.
