Sam Fender from North Shields wants nothing less than to be 'the soaring indie singer-songwriter voice of his generation'. He is well on his way to achieving this: with his stadium-ready indie rock anthems combined with socially critical lyrics, he is currently breaking all records. After being honoured with the BRIT Award in the "Critics Choice" category at the beginning of 2019, he released "Hypersonic Missiles" in September 2019.
