Last summer, SONS was an unstoppable primal force on festival stages. With their latest record 'Sweet Boy' under their belts, the Belkgian foursome had ammunition that was on point. Rock Werchter, Into The Great Wide Open, Zwarte Cross, ... the band impressed again and again with tons of energy, technical ingenuity and pure unadulterated joy. They also got to open for living legend Jack White in Germany twice and were one of the absolute highlights at the latest Reeperbahn showcase festival in Hamburg.
This autumn and next spring, SONS will tour clubs in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany and Switzerland with Sweet Boy.
SONS can make floors shake and ceilings crack with their razor-sharp songs, that’s a foregone conclusion. With the latest single 'Momentary Bliss', Robin, Jens, Arno and Thomas prove they also have an ear for catchy melodies that cross the finish line without going full throttle.
" ‘Momentary Bliss’ is about the struggle within yourself with love. No matter how big some temptations are, you are always pulled back down to earth," says singer-guitarist Robin Borghgraef. The offbeat music video that accompanies the single not only puts your feet on the ground, but nails you to your seat. Production house Czar and director Kenneth Mercken reprise the protagonist from 'Nothing' and serve up a frenzied trip with shots that will stay burned into your retinas.
