Since the success of her song ‘New Soul,’ which reached number one on the singles charts in France and several other countries and made it into the top 10 on the Billboard charts in the United States, Yael has been composing and producing not only for herself, with four albums to date, but also for various other artists and for film scores. Awarded three Victoires de la Musique (2008, 2011 and 2016) and elevated to the rank of Officier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, she relentlessly seeks to create works that blend classical music, electronic music and orchestration, with highly personal and committed lyrics on issues of individual freedom and liberation from limiting beliefs.
