Cara Rose has always been musically gifted and cultivated her love of music from the bottom of her heart. Her sound is reminiscent of artists such as Amy Winehouse, Nina Simone and Lauryn Hill. She is also often referred to as the ‘Scottish Adele’. Despite the attribution, Cara Rose has her own typical Glasgow style: authentic, intimate and damn talented. The soulful singer-songwriter continues her rise on the live scene with her third European tour. After numerous sold-out shows in her hometown of Glasgow and the rest of the UK, Cara is now captivating audiences across Europe with her direct, passionate and insightful lyrics. After initial sold-out shows in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands and France, Cara is bringing her powerful live show to more cities in February 2025.
In her songs, Cara explores what it means to go through life as a young woman in uncertain times. She has already impressed fans of all ages.
Right from her debut single ‘Learn to Speak’, the enthusiasm for one of the country's brightest talents was evident. The song reached millions of streams on Spotify and played its way into the hearts of listeners across countries. On the EP ‘How It Feels’ (released in November 2021), the musician drew on her jazz influence, which shaped much of her childhood. In 2022, she supported fellow Scot Emeli Sandé on stage at Oran Mor in Glasgow and since then she has regularly released new singles. We are looking forward to a captivating concert evening.
