Vance Joy has announced his new studio album "In Our Own Sweet Time" for 10 June. It is the third album from the multi-platinum singer-songwriter, who became known for instant feel good hits like "Riptide" and "Lay It On Me" - and his most personal to date. It was written largely during the pandemic, which is reflected in the album's themes and focus. Like so many of us, Vance Joy realised what was really important in life. He grew from the experience, on both a personal and creative level. Old friends, new memories, the unexpected emergence of love in a place of hope - "In Our Own Sweet Time" tells of it all. The Australian worked on the songs with hitmakers like Joel Little (Lorde, Taylor Swift), Dan Wilson (Adele, Leon Bridges), Take a Day Trip (Miley Cyrus, Lil Nas X) and more. To accompany the album announcement, Vance Joy has also released his new single "Clarity". In addition to "Clarity", "In Our Own Sweet Time" will also include recent hits "Don't Fade" and "Missing Piece".
"Missing Piece" premiered on the US series "Grey's Anatomy" last year and subsequently went on a worldwide triumphant run - more than 130 million streams are on the clock to date, playing their part in bringing the musician's total catalogue to over 5 billion streams.
